Hello, thanks for visiting my portfolio page. I am currently an Application Hosting Engineer based in Bristol (UK) with an interest in DevOps.

As a brief summary, I have experience creating and managing CI/CD pipelines, Powershell automation and am currently learning Azure; studying for the Az-104 exam.

I will soon be moving to Finland with my family and am actively looking for work in the Uusimaa area.

Interests

Gaming

I have enjoyed playing video games since the age of four. I started off playing the Sega Megadrive with Ecco the Dolphin and now I have moved onto PC gaming with games such as League of Legends and World of Warcraft.

I have been running my own raiding guild in World of Warcraft for the past three years now which has been a great experience. This has taught me how to manage people from various backgrounds and cultures.

Tv/Film

I enjoy watching various tv shows and movies using streaming sites such as Netflix and Amazon Prime. The Walking Dead and Breaking Bad are amongst my favourites!

Language

As mentioned above, I play with people from various countries. I have learned a little Spanish whilst playing with some Spanish friends. In addition to this, I am actively learning Finnish in preparation for my move to Finland. Puhun vähän Suomea

Achievements

EMEA DR Events 2019/2020: I planned and coordinated my team's tasks during our yearly DR events. This involved scripting automation, organising and supporting my team members as a senior member of the team.

Application Delivery: I have worked on various projects from start to finish. This involves attending meetings with the Project Managers, building infrastructure as per Architect requirements, deploying software to new servers followed by creating documentation and handing over to the application support teams.
